The Oakdale Civic Association is a community-based organization that was incorporated November 8, 1989
after the owner of 127 acres of wetlands in Oakdale proposed a development of 142 houses and boat slips.
The community banded together to fight for what they believed was best for the community.
This land is now a protected wetland area owned by the State of New York.
Our mission is to continue to fight for what is best for our community.
We are working to keep Oakdale a family town that will remain clean and healthy for generations to come.
